Born in the City of Hartford, raised in the city’s north end. Bowles Park Housing Projects, 41° 48' 14.404" N 72° 42' 35.197" W, Connecticut to be exact.

Ancient was introduced to the art of rapping through his uncle who was at the time an up and coming artist from the city. At 3 years of age,  LL Cool J’s “I’m Bad” was pure raw inspiration. Red Kangol hats and matching Adidas sweatshirts was his daily uniform. Growing up in such a small city, options to break were a major challenge in all areas of life.

Ancient overcame many challenges of the inner-city, barely making it out of situations many of his peers succumbed to. In his mother’s basement  around the year of 1997 Ancient setup his first make shift studio; Stacks of radio receivers and tape decks, using headphones for microphones. There were many beat boxing cyphers and freestyles which developed into writing elaborate rap lyrics. At some point along the way, Ancient’s uncle gave him a beat machine in which Ancient used to make his first mixtape in 2000.

Since that time, Ancient as grown to be a major force to be reckoned with in the genre of rap music. In 2006, Ancient met The Perk Influence a music producer from Stamford, CT. They collaborated to release two mixtapes, “Ancient The Astronaut” (2012) and “Time is Ancient” (2013) both hosted by a childhood friend of Ancient, DJ QT. Shortly after those releases, Ancient ran into the producer Hippie Rockso, a lengend from Hartford, CT. Together the created some of the best hiphop/rap music of all time, a match made in heaven. In 2016 “Riot Music” was released, a classic with an original authentic Connecticut sound. The album received many accolades. In 2020 during the worldwide pandemic, Ancient released his most potent body of work to date “Most Ancient” produced by Hippie Rockso.

With the world getting back to normal, Ancient along with his original musical comrade The Perk Influence now called @MultiFamilyJames and Hippie Rockso the elite music producer are set to takeover the music industry by delivering top quality music performances and networking events for entrepreneurs.
